Food for Thought

Most of us have seen the brief versions of the data about food insecurity among the nation’s children:
That means that 20 out of every 100 children in this rich country is hungry from pre-school through college. It means
normally that those children do not know where their next meal is coming from. It means they may not have had an evening
meal or breakfast. Schools are sending back packs full of food home for the weekend.
Come to the conference to learn from representatives of local
organizations that are combating this widespread problem.
