Please join us for the St. Louis Urban Tour and Lunch

May 13th, 12:30 - 4pm

 

 

Eric Mumford, Rebecca and John Voyles Professor of Architecture at Washington University and an alumni of Harvard College '80, will give a brief historical overview of the history of St. Louis at the Missouri History Museum during lunch and then lead a bus tour of historically significant local sites of architecture and urbanism. These include Grand Center, Washington Avenue, the Old Courthouse, the Arch, Eads Bridge, Old North St. Louis, the Pruitt-Igoe/NGA site, Union Station, Soulard, Lafayette Park, Carondelet, Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden.

 

Tickets are $25 for club members and non-members alike.

Tickets include lunch in the AT&T Room at the Missouri History Museum and the bus tour. The bus will depart and return from the Missouri History Museum; best car parking is nearby in the lots across the street from the Visitor's Center in Forest Park.
